I served with 161 in Vietnam Mar-Nov.1969. I was posted to 1 Field Regt LAD RAEME and was then informally attached to 161 when required as Gun Tiffy for the Battery. 161 provided Fire Support for 9RAR and I was involved in most Fire Support Bases including FSB "Thrust" near the Long Hais.
Passed away peacefully, at home, on Saturday, 7th November, 2015. Aged 73 years. A service to celebrate Mac's life will be held at St. Clare's Co-operating Church, 97 Tuhikaramea Road, Dinsdale, Hamilton on Thursday, 12th November at 10.30 a.m. followed by private cremation.

66067 Basil Wood, 4th Field Rgt, served in Egypt & Italy passed away peacefully in his 97th year on October 23rd, 2015. Funeral notice later.
There are now registrations to attend the Reunion 13-15 Nov in Chch and MORE in the "still getting around to it" stage.
